According to Wikipedia, Dyersville is located at 42°28’53” North, 91°7’15” West, along the North Fork of the Maquoketa River. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 4.6 square miles (11.9 km²), of which, 4.6 square miles (11.9 km²) of it is land and 0.22% is water.
The median income for a household in the city is $38,469, and the median income for a family is $45,625. Males have a median income of $29,674 versus $21,312 for females. The per capita income for the city is $17,195. 4.8% of the population and 4.6% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total population, 5.5% of those under the age of 18 and 8.4% of those 65 and older are living below the poverty line.
Even though the town was founded by a Briton, the population is overwhelmingly German, and Catholic.
