(A Ausência de Todas as Cores)
photomontages by: Ludmilla Steckelberg
There is an article posted on the lens culture blog about the conceptual work of Ludmilla Steckelberg. The photographs are simple comments about absence yet powerful when viewed all at once in the context of a family album. Photoshop is used to “erase” deceased family members out of group portraits, leaving behind feelings of loss and curiosity of ones own existence and memory.
Check out her work.
